About the Author

Tiya Kaur Kooner is a thirteen-year-old British-Indian student living in Dubai with her brother and parents who started writing poetry at the age of eight. Just two years ago, she published her work on an online writing site and went public for the first time.

Her poetry mainly focuses on emotions and reader relatability. In her eyes, poetry is a method of therapy- for both the reader and the writer.

It is able to change one's mindset and alter their view on a certain matter.

Conversations With The Girl In The Mirror has two chapters which portray the general cycle of human emotion- the aching and the repairing.
